IAN & CATHERINE MARTIN DIAMOND WEDDING ANNIVERSARY Ian Martin of Closeburn and Catherine Martin (nee Adamson) of Carronbridge were married on the 23rd March 1956. They were married in Durisdeer Parish Church by the late Rev. Bill Scott. The best man was the late Bill Adamson and the bridesmaid was Mary Jeffrey (nee Martin). They have lived in Closeburn all their married life. They have two daughters, Hazel and Audrey and 4 grandchildren.
